Our Schools Today

Our Story

The story of The Salvation Schools is rooted in a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families within our communities.

The schools were established in 2010, against the backdrop of significant social and educational challenges in the communities of Barkin Ladi Local Government Area and surrounding villages. The difficult circumstances experienced by many families created an urgent need to provide children with hope and opportunities for a better future.

We recognized that children are among those most affected when communities experience crisis and hardship. Beyond the immediate trauma and loss, children can face an uncertain future when their education is interrupted or inaccessible.

This became part of the motivation behind establishing The Salvation Schools: to give children the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a better future through education.

What began as a response to a deep educational need has grown into schools serving hundreds of pupils and students, supported by a dedicated team of staff, management, and a Board of Governors.

Today, we remain committed to the purpose for which the schools were established: providing education that transforms lives and contributes to the development of our communities.
